My name is Alyson Humphrey Smith, and I am the music teacher at A.C. Steere Elementary School in Shreveport, Louisiana, where I teach pre-K–5 general music and choir. I am in my 12th year of teaching music and my 7th year of using QuaverMusic. Ebony Miranda has been a school counselor with Osceola County School District in Florida for 7 years. She integrates creative, evidence-based practices including partnering with her therapy dog, Finn, to support student growth. She is also the founder of Miranda Family Consulting, supporting families and schools in building healthy environments.

Laurie Wohl, music teacher at the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB), earned her B.S. in music education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her M.S. in visual disabilities studies from Florida State University. Her leadership in show choir, chorus, piano, and elementary music, combined with her work in theater and accessibility, recently earned FSDB the prestigious Audio Description Project award.
Mariann will begin her 34th year as a music educator, having taught the last 14 years in the elementary grades for the Mt. Lebanon School District outside of Pittsburgh, PA. She has also served as the supervisor of fine arts and health and physical education. Mariann has been using QuaverEd resources since they were a box set of DVDs and has enjoyed seeing them develop into the full curriculum they are today!

Renata Calderon, MSW, is a social-emotional learning interventionist in D59. She specializes in providing interventions to students, writing SEL curriculum, and providing professional development to staff members on topics such as restorative practices, Mental Health First Aid, and behavioral strategies.
Renita Searcy is a physical education professional dedicated to fostering holistic wellness through movement, mindfulness, and social-emotional learning. With a strong commitment to creating inclusive, engaging environments, she empowers students and staff to develop lifelong healthy habits and emotional resilience.
Robin Wacha is a traveling elementary health teacher with 28 years of experience and dual master’s degrees in elementary education and instructional technology. Passionate about helping others reach their full potential, she inspires students to embrace health, confidence, and lifelong learning.
