Letter from President on Guitar, Keyboard, and Production Courses

Hi all,

I and the rest of the company received feedback on removing some lessons for the Guitar, Keyboards, and Production Courses. I apologize and regret the confusion the removal has caused. I wanted to give you a few updates and provide some explanation.

Courses Still Being Written

The Guitar and Keyboard courses you saw were unfinished and only included a limited number of lessons. We were hoping to receive comments and recommendations from our users. They are currently being updated to include more interactivity. The plan is to release the completed Guitar and Keyboard courses in December of this year. The Production course will be released in the summer of 2025.

Electives for Middle School

The courses were intended for Middle School as an alternative or add-on to our grade 6 to 8 music curriculum. The courses consist of 144 lessons, which would overwhelm our curricula if included. To address new federal and state initiatives, we are also adding two units to each course on careers in music.

Looking Forward

The sample units placed on the Dashboard last year were not included in the license fees. These were a value add for a limited amount of time. Going forward, new content and functionality will not be removed unless replaced with something better. This year, we will be adding amazing new content (more song-based lessons, boom whacker lessons, additional recorder pieces, and more) and additional functionality (customizable lesson selection menu, side-by-side Spanish and English screens, and upgraded creatives.) All course materials will also be in Spanish by the end of the school year.

Commitment to Value

Any profits earned by QuaverEd are reinvested in the company. We are highly cost-conscious and believe in investing in our products and employees. We aim to provide the highest-quality resources at the lowest possible cost.

Accessing Courses

Finally, we can discuss restoring the lessons to your Dashboard for those who relied on these courses, bought equipment, or otherwise changed their teaching plans. Please email Customer Service at Info@QuaverEd.com with your Quavername and a brief description of how you intend to utilize the resources this year. When released, the courses will be heavily discounted for existing customers.

In closing, we value you and our reputation with you. Together, we can achieve our mission of enriching the lives of children.

Sincerely,

Dave Mastran
President
