ARDEN, N.C. (WLOS) — Melody McGarrahan is using her QuaverMusic program to help enhance her lesson at Avery’s Creek Elementary School.

She got the online program last year and had no idea how important it would be for her students this year.

McGarrahan said, because of the technology, it is an excellent teaching tool for every student.

“So, that has been such a big help to make sure that quality music education is happening to all of my students, whether it is in-person or remotely,” she said.

McGarrahan said, when the pandemic first hit, she felt a bit overwhelmed trying to make sure she provided music lessons for all of her students. But, she said using the technology to do that was empowering.
