Dear Future Me: Choreography Contest

Enjoy a new song, inspire creativity, encourage movement, and help the QuaverHealth•PE team complete their movement video! 

About the Choreography Contest

For the first time ever, we’re hosting a Choreography Contest! We noticed how popular choreographed dances have become with students. We’re hoping this contest is an opportunity for students to harness their creativity, move their bodies, and feel a part of the Quaver Community! 

How to Participate

  • Before class, go to Featured Resources > Spring or search “Choreography Contest” in Resource Manager to find worksheets and movement banks for different grades. Print these out to help your students get started. Search “Dear Future Me” in Resource Manager and launch it in full-screen. 
  • To begin, listen to the song with the whole class. Discuss students’ initial reactions or thoughts. Then, share how Quaver needs your students’ help creating a movement video. 
  • Next, split students into groups. Provide the worksheets and share a QR code or link to the song on students’ devices. 
  • Once students have finalized their choreography, have them record themselves if they have parental permission. Otherwise, they can submit the filled-out worksheet. 
  • Only teachers submit the worksheets or videos of the choreography (with permission from parents) by emailing socialmedia@quavered.com by March 31, 2025.
  • Our team will review the submissions, and you may see part or all of your suggestions in the movement video!

What do I get if I win?

The winning student will be credited in the “Dear Future Me” Movement Video with parental permission. The winning teacher will receive a $100 Amazon gift card.

FAQs

We will only review MP4s that are sent to socialmedia@quavered.com.

 All students can create entries, but we ask that only teachers submit the entries to Quaver.

Teachers can email their school name with the attached MP4s to socialmedia@quavered.com. Feel free to include any other pertinent details in your email!

Yes, all entries must be submitted by March 24, 2025. Late submissions will not be accepted.

We will announce the winners in late March on this page and our QuaverEd social media. Then, we will contact the winner via email!

QuaverEd may share selected submissions on our social media channels or website, but we will not share student information without permission.

  2. By entering a QuaverEd Sweepstakes, you will be bound by these Terms & Conditions and you acknowledge that you satisfy all eligibility requirements. “QuaverEd” means QuaverEd, Inc.
  3. Eligibility. This contest is open to individual legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia who are older than 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in their state of residence prior to the date of entry. Employees of QuaverEd and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law. Please note that teachers will submit entries on behalf of their classes. 
  4. How to Enter. This contest is hosted by QuaverEd, located at 65 Music Square W in Nashville, TN. To participate, teachers will use the “Choreography Contest” worksheet in Resource Manager provided by QuaverEd. They will assign it to their students and submit entries via email to socialmedia@QuaverEd.com. There are unlimited entries allowed. Please do not include any personal information about your students in the email, MP4 names, or any other communication with QuaverEd. The contest is open from February 24, 2025, to March 24, 2025, at midnight CT. 
  5. Prize(s) and Winner Selection Method. QuaverEd will award one winner. The winning student will be credited in QuaverHealth•PE’s “Dear Future Me” Movement Video with parental permission. The winning Health and/or PE teacher will also receive a $100 Amazon gift card. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. If you are a winner, an email notification will be sent to the email address used in the form. These pieces will be judged by a panel of QuaverEd employees. 
  6. By entering the contest, the creator of the piece agrees to let QuaverEd use the participant’s submission for publicity, news, advertising, promotional purposes, trade, and so forth without any further notice, review, consent, compensation, or remuneration. No students’ names, images, or likenesses will be shared. Entries must be original work and not violate anyone’s proprietary or intellectual property rights
  7. Winners will be notified on March 31, 2025, via email. They have one week to claim the prize of the prize may be forfeited. QuaverEd is not responsible if the winner(s) do not receive the email communication. If the winner(s) do not claim the prize, the QuaverEd team will choose a new winner and contact them via email. Participants can request the list of winners by emailing socialmedia@quavered.com after March 31, 2025
  8. Additional Terms. QuaverEd reserves the right to modify or cancel this contest at any time. QuaverEd is not responsible for (a) lost, misdirected, late, or incomplete entries or for inaccurate entry information or (b) any operation or transmission error, theft, unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries. QuaverEd may disqualify any individual found to be (x) tampering with a Contest, (y) violating these Terms & Conditions, or (z) acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with intent to threaten or harass any person. Incomplete, robotic, automatic, programmed, or similar entries will be disqualified. 
  9. Miscellaneous. Each contest is governed by the laws of the United States. By entering a Contest, you agree (for yourself and your heirs) that QuaverEd, each of their respective affiliates and agents, and any entity involved in any aspect of the Contest (all aforementioned parties are collective, the “Released Parties”) will have no liability, and will be held harmless from and against liability, loss, injury or damage to property or person, including death, and reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize or participation in the Contest, even if caused or contributed to by the negligence of any of the Released Parties.
  10. You agree that QuaverEd’s decisions related to each contest and all distribution of prizes are final. The winner(s) agrees that by participating in a Contest, QuaverEd and their respective affiliates may use the winning teacher’s name in any manner and in any medium for its promotional purposes without additional compensation, including posting photos, except where prohibited by law, and QuaverEd and their respective affiliates may be required to disclose the winner’s school address to state regulatory authorities.
  11. Privacy Notice: All information submitted in connection with this Sweepstakes will be treated in accordance with these Terms & Conditions and QuaverEd’s privacy policy.
